What is Zenither?

Zenither is a TV Anywhere platform; that is, it is a virtual multi-channel programming distributor (vMVPD). This is a fancy and long-winded way to say that we are ‘cable TV without the cable’. Zenither can be regarded as a “Television 2.0” platform in that we distribute our television content entirely through the internet, allow audience to engage in conversations with other viewers using chat systems, and use built in analytic software to provide television networks with detailed measurements of viewer activity so that publishers can better know what programs to schedule and when to schedule them.

Our goal with Zenither is to provide a high quality experience for viewers to watch television programming using internet connected devices, be they computers, smart TVs or mobile devices.

This is also an open beta build and not the final version, so please bear that in mind. There are many more features we intend to add in the coming weeks. We appreciate all feedback we receive and will work hard to make Zenither into the best possible app we can!

Instructions on how to use Zenither:

Please agree to share all permissions, including location data. This is required for our app to display the correct program listings for your time zone.

Account Creation: To create a Zenither account you must fill out our registration form, entering your name, email address and other information when registering an account. You may also choose a username for your account which will be displayed when you make public comments on videos.

Timeline navigation: The TV Guide tab will display day schedules for broadcasts from television stations featured on Zenither. Clicking on any episode listing using your mouse or finger to load show. Using the scroll-bar at the bottom of the TV Guide, or clicking on the edges of the screen, you may move down the timeline for the day’s schedule. You currently cannot see the next day’s schedule, unless you use the ‘Future Releases’ page to do so. You can also click on the ‘More’ button to bring up an info window that will display information about the program and also recommended related shows.

Subscribing to stations: By clicking on a station’s name from the TV Guide you can load the Station page. On this page you can subscribe to a station, adding it to the “Free Subscriptions” section of your TV Guide. You can also watch on demand video content from a Station page, and if featured you can also purchase merchandise related to the station.

Subscriptions Page: Once subscribed to stations you will be able to go to the 
Subscriptions page and see a timeline of recently released content from the television stations you are subscribed to.

Search page: By entering keyword phrases you will be presented a list of Stations, Shows and Episodes that match these keyword phrases, assisting you with discovering new content available for watch on Zenither.

Future Releases: This page enables you to see what kind of content is, platform wide, going to be released in the future days, weeks or months. It is yet another means of content discovery for you to use in order to find programs you may be interested in watching.

Istruzioni su come usare Zenither:

Navigazione tramite linea temporale: la scheda Guida TV mostrerà gli orari giornalieri per le trasmissioni dalle stazioni televisive presenti su Zenither. Cliccando su qualsiasi elenco di episodi usando il mouse o il dito per caricare lo spettacolo. Utilizzando la barra di scorrimento nella parte inferiore della Guida TV o facendo clic sui bordi dello schermo, è possibile spostarsi lungo la linea temporale per il programma del giorno. Al momento non è possibile visualizzare la pianificazione del giorno successivo, a meno che non si utilizzi la pagina "Uscite future" per farlo. Puoi anche fare clic sul pulsante "Altro" per visualizzare una finestra informativa che visualizzerà le informazioni sul programma e anche i programmi correlati consigliati.

Iscrizione alle stazioni: facendo clic sul nome di una stazione dalla Guida TV è possibile caricare la pagina Stazione. In questa pagina puoi iscriverti a una stazione, aggiungendola alla sezione "Iscrizioni gratuite" della tua guida TV. È anche possibile guardare i contenuti video su richiesta da una pagina Station e, se presenti, è possibile acquistare anche prodotti correlati alla stazione.

Pagina Iscrizioni: una volta abbonati alle stazioni sarà possibile accedere a
Pagina Iscrizioni e visualizza una cronologia dei contenuti rilasciati di recente dalle emittenti televisive alle quali sei iscritto.

Pagina di ricerca: inserendo frasi di parole chiave, ti verrà presentata una lista di stazioni, spettacoli ed episodi che corrispondono a queste frasi di parole chiave, che ti aiuteranno a scoprire nuovi contenuti disponibili per guardare su Zenither.

Uscite future: questa pagina ti consente di vedere che tipo di contenuto è, in tutta la piattaforma, che verrà rilasciato nei giorni, settimane o mesi futuri. È ancora un altro mezzo di scoperta dei contenuti che puoi utilizzare per trovare programmi che potresti essere interessato a guardare.
